Bosch Packaging Technology has launched new vial filling and closing machine MLF 5088, a new member of MLF series, with an output capacity of 400 vials per minute and integrated 100% in-process control (IPC).
The machine, which features continuous-operation stoppering station, is suitable for processing pharmaceuticals in aqueous and low-viscosity solutions.
Bosch Packaging Technology product manager Dieter Bandtel said, "The new MLF 5088 demonstrates that high output is not opposed to best safety standards. Besides the machine's high performance, we managed to integrate 100 percent in-process control."
The new machine is capable of determining the absolute filling weight of vials and adjusting automatically in case of any deviation.
A combined filling station with eight dosing heads facilitates flexibility to work with almost all filling systems used for pharmaceutical machines such as piston, peristaltic or rolling diaphragm pumps, or a time-pressure filling system.
The MLF 5088 is suited for restricted access barrier systems (RABS) and isolators in addition to closed RABS (cRABS) for toxic products and containment systems.
